Advocacy Groups involved in TAP-GRIN
EURECAH
EURECAH is a French non-profit association founded in 1999 by parents committed to finding adapted solutions for children with disabilities. Based in La Talaudiere in the Loire region, it provides specialized reception and support services for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, as well as support for families and caregivers.
Within TAP-GRIN, EURECAH represents the voice of patients and families affected by GRIN-related neurodevelopmental disorders, supports engagement activities, helps co-design accessible communication materials and contributes to dissemination in France.
GRIN Italia
GRIN Italia APS was founded at the beginning of 2023 by parents of children affected by GRIN disorders and supporters. The association works to support research into new therapies and treatments and to help families provide a better future for people living with GRIN-related disorders.
Its initiatives include information and awareness campaigns, family support, promotion of research and training activities with healthcare professionals. A scientific committee has been active since 2024 to support research-focused projects.
In TAP-GRIN, GRIN Italia promotes the project within the GRIN community and provides financial support to participating families for travel, food and accommodation to help study retention.
GRIN Europe
GRIN Europe is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by GRIN-related neurodevelopmental disorders by driving research, fostering collaboration and advocating for better medical care.
As a growing alliance of GRIN patient organizations across Europe, it supports families facing rare conditions that often include epilepsy, movement disorders, cognitive disabilities and autonomic dysfunctions. Its mission includes early diagnosis, personalized treatments and equitable access to specialized care and support.
By organizing the annual European GRIN conference, GRIN Europe helps bridge families, clinicians, researchers and industry partners while supporting research initiatives, clinical trials and cross-border collaboration.
